"The Rig” starring William Forsythe and Serah D´Laine

Movie of the Day: "The Rig” starring William Forsythe and Serah D´Laine.

Length: 1:.34:14

Date of Review: 09-30-2010

Rating : 3.50 (a 70´s type Horror attempt at a movie. 2 Thumbs down)

Movie Review:  This is a movie that within the first 10 minutes your like do I really want to waste the next 94 minutes finding out that it really is a bad movie, plain outright from the terrible screening of our monster ocean creature which you rarely see and then you finally see a bit more than a glimpse and it was something out of a old 70´s horror flick. The acting was cheesy at most parts and there was a story that could have been told in 5 minutes instead of the full 94 minutes. I know Horrors are supposed to be like that but this was overall just bad.

I have to review this but it is simple. Hurricane about to hit a rig in the Gulf of Mexico, fierce storm evacuates almost all the crew in the rig less 8 or so men and the Chief of the rigs daughter. A malfunction at 4000 feet deep and their ¼ million dollar camera and underwater lab is dismantled by something????? Maybe it is our creature???

The crew then pulls up the equipment and then one by one the crew starts to die, obviously getting stab wounds thru their body from this walking deadly sea creature who is now aboard the rig. By the way the wicked storm hurricane has but disappeared now so even the storyline can´t be done right here and as it continues on without any renewed excitement, more of the staff disappears and still no one is any smarter to what´s going on and it´s like half way thru the movie, wow we have to put up with another half!!!

I don’t normally knock a movie but you can´t think up the second half and you´ll probably be mostly right , very predictable and even more cheesy with the camera shots and footing , didn’t even give me very many if at even one scare. So why was it made?

This is Hollywood, or movie marketing at a opportune time to take advantage of the public, especially right after some 70 days of an oil rig problem that just cleared up some 60 days ago, so put one name brand William Forsythe on the cover, put a Rig photo and let everyone in America waste everything from their money to time to just shove it in our faces of how gullible we the public can be.

However, this is why you need guinea pigs like me to watch this crap and review it so you don’t have to waste your time on it. Simple, they probably filmed the whole movie on a oil rig waiting to return back to business and got a discount for filming since the rig was already vacant, then put a crew of actors to read the almost ridiculous script (which most of the time they shouldn’t have talked at all) and then finish it within time that the American public could still remember the Oil disaster from BP Oil and run with it.

The only thing I could appreciate about it was its timing only 2 months after the Oil spill disaster had been repaired , therefore , my hats off to Marketing this film and I am sure a lot of people will be sucked into seeing this one and maybe my review business will increase since John P. Public  will want to read a review before they get ripped off by another movie like this again.

2 Thumbs down!!

"Please Give” starring Rebecca Hall, Oliver Platt

Movie of the Day: " Please Give” starring Rebecca Hall, Oliver Platt , Catherine Keener & Elizabeth Keener.

Length: 1:.30:48

Date of Review: 09-29-2010

Rating : 6.40 (a thought provoking Life crisis and finding your way through whatever age your at was the underlying theme. Decent watch)

Movie Review: This is a movie that really gets you to observe what your priorities are in Life at this and at every stage of your Life as depicted by the 6 main characters and the variations of their ages. .

The Wife, (Catherine Keener) has a successful antique furniture store in New York city that she runs with her Husband (Oliver Platt) who is the open minded lets enjoy every moment of any opportunity. His line “she was, and I think I was flirting back, what was that all about” conversation with the wife says it all. The daughter , growing up at 15-16 and wanting all the cool things , and the mother who won´t give the daughter the cool jeans but feels an overwhelming amount of guilt to give every single Bum on the streets 5-20 each as she walks along. Priorities in Life.

The elderly, 91 yrs old Grandmother neighbor with 2 grand-daughters, one nice (Rebecca Hall) and one nasty (Elizabeth Keener) and the really degrading attitudes that sometimes the elderly have to put up with because kicking the shit out of a 25 year old at 91 isn´t quite as easy, but you can see she wants too.

The different characters I enjoyed as they intertwined back and forth between the different stories behind the stories. The actors were pros and that made the movie a little more entertaining that it should have been. It was well acted but still didn’t give me the kind of movie I expected with this set of cast involved , very predictable themes and expectations were already expected by the time you got to them.

However, overall it was an entertaining 90 minutes to enjoy the characters and the differences between what you expect at the different ages of your life, it was almost as though the director wanted us to believe that every character combined could be one person´s life at the different stages. I just felt that kind of nostalgic kind of movie where there was something more to it.

The ending was a bit abrupt like the movie ran out of money at the end and couldn’t finish it but maybe that was the way the director wanted us to leave feeling that way, it was fun to imagine the true purposes of each character but it was never really grasping onto any of them that I most walked away feeling. Like the focus should have been really clear and focused on a main character instead of having us get to know a little about a lot of them.

The movie will make you re-evaluate your life priorities and that can´t be that bad can it. as thought provoking and many well played areas but still left me wanting more.

Even ….No thumbs up, but no thumbs down.

" Monsters” - 2010 - starring Scoot McNairy & Whitney Able

Movie of the Day: " Monsters” starring Scoot McNairy & Whitney Able.

Length: 1:.34:22

Date of Review: 09-28-2010

Rating : 5.80 (a thought provoking end of the world scenario with some great scenery added but lacked in delivery of a creature. OK watch)

Movie Review:  The end of the world has arrived and Mexico and USA border and probably 100 miles either way is called the Infected zone. The story starts with a photojournalist and a lost tourist have to take a real alternative route to try and get back to the USA. And as they start off the journalist boss asks him to return his daughter the tourist back to safe territory. The unknown Monsters become known pretty quick and are a knock off of the War of the Worlds creatures maybe the bad takes they didn’t want to include. The story itself was a little slow in my mind for the first half and took a long time to let a romance develop during times they were in. The first half of the movie was mostly about him wanting to get into her pants , then he settled in and the lack of horror scenes which I was expecting more , was overshadowed by some good , intense music to keep this flowing along well.

The movie itself was well done with the mystery in the air to keep you in suspense about what was really going on, the lack of people and communication kept the movie interesting and although I was expecting more the scenery was great and the story of survival and the underlying message that life is about our journeys and triumphs and challenges, and are we really going to crack when it comes down to the end. The classic bum with the shopping cart at the start with the laugh said it all. But the actors kept it quite realistic and believable so the movie really never felt as destitute as the end of the world type of movies normally do, so that kept you optimistic that more was there.

The creatures themselves at the end were OK but seemed to bring the movie down a notch where I thought they could’ve put more quality or design or thought because they were not very believable at all, but again I don’t think this was a multi-million dollar film so that is understandable and it didn’t really give much credibility to the rest of the movie which was done well.

The movie was thought provoking and many well played areas but still left me wanting more.

Even ….No thumbs up, but no thumbs down.

"Knight & Day” starring Tom Cruise & Cameron Diaz.

Movie of the Day: " Knight & Day” starring Tom Cruise & Cameron Diaz.

 Length: 1:.42.31

Date of Review: 09-27-2010

Rating : 6.80 (a great refreshing action / comedy flick that really is well all Cruise & Diaz)

Movie Review:  I always am guaranteed a good view most times, maybe 8 out of 10 when you get some big Hollywood names on the cover of a new movie  and  Knight and Day was in my mind no great movie but absolutely entertaining and upbeat which I loved and even witty and intriguing with the chemistry going back and forth from Tom Cruise to Cameron Diaz.

The movie starts off with Cruise being a special FBI or paid killer who is set up by his partner in an elaborate scheme to take power of a new energy source. Cruise and Diaz start as Cruise uses Diaz to pass stuff through the security at the airport. He is always thinking ahead and Cameron plays I thought a great part as well as the confused person who keeps getting drugged to get to the next part of the movie.

I think the special effects and pure 100 million worth of Hollywood explosions and great scenery from the different shooting locations was pleasant to watch but it didn´t finish me feeling fully contented , a nice movie to cuddle up with your loved one and watch , but that was it , nothing memorable or even unexpected as you were bumped back and force during the movie and some great writing but overall it lacked the movie intelligence that some of the Tom Cruise movies have given us in the past, and yes your not getting any younger so the Cruise rib scenes , showed your buffed for your age , but not something you want to flounder off too much as time continues on.

Hey it was fun movie in a world of too much everything, it delivered!!

1 Thumb Up  …a Fun movie with lots of boom and bam .

Movie Review: "The Last Exorcism” - 2010

Movie of the Day: "The Last Exorcism” starring Patrick Fabian, Ashley Bell, Luis Herthum, Iris Bahr.

Length: 1:.18:39

Date of Review: 09-26-2010

Rating : 3.00 (a great Hollywood rip off, however like Blair Witch projects , cheap production making tons of controversy and money)

Movie Review: I was honestly going to turn it off after every 15 minutes of watching this and managed to survive till the end and said like most I am sure that this should actually pay me to have given up some of my time to watch this farce of a movie. This should not be allowed to let viewers give them their money as it is highway rip off.

The movie starts as a interview about a fast talking, salesman like Priest who´s father was a Priest from seems like the deep mid south of the USA. The fast talking father allows a camera crew to go on his last exorcism. They follow and to be honest this is one review you really should accept as a movie just there to steal your money.

The Priest even shows him some of the tricks like noise makers to create a scarier ceremony, but he is supposedly taken into a real situation. You watch it and when you get to the part where you first ask yourself why are we watching this and wasting our time, there has got to be something better you can be doing with your precious time, that moment turn it off and that would be only advise I can truly advise on this one.

Created with the same like what is going on theme like the Blair Witch projects , and yet couldn’t even figure out how to start or for that matter finish the movie , there wasn’t one time I flinched although a few others did jump a couple of times you can´t even tag this as a Horror.

I am sure this is just a Marketing Genius at a Studio saying how can we make a cheap movie with lots of controversy attached(God & Devil worshipers combined and then film it in the shabbiest part of USA and I think they actually used a video cameras for most and I think none of the movie worked , But looking at the money coming in it’s a shame to the other movies released recently are allowing this piece of crap to grab up like 40 million in first weekend at a total cost of 2 million to make this will make a lot of money for someone in Hollywood but the bad mark it leaves on the public and disgrace to call it a movie will far outlast the amount of money you will make.

3 Thumbs Down …awful. Don’t even waste your rental money when it hits DVD stores. Even the Horror addicts mostly hated this one.

Movie Review of the Day: " Machete”

Movie of the Day: " Machete” - 2010 - starring Danny Trejo,Robert Deniro,Jessica Alba,Steven Segal, Michelle Rodriguez.

Length: 1:.37:02

Date of Review: 09-25-2010

Rating : 7.00 ( B movie satire and exploitation of the 70 & 80´s type movies).

Movie Review:  I was honestly going to turn it off after the first 2 minutes, but something told me to hold on, and I was pleasantly surprised by where it took me. It is based on a B movie satire and exploitation of the 70 & 80´s B films but maybe this is why I should read reviews before I watch movies in the future. Funny enough, just yesterday, I was commenting on how I will say 99% of the movies I have watched, I never usually read the reviews before I watch, so I can really get a feel for the movie as it comes to me off the screen and let my emotions of that moment really “feel the moment” I am in.

In this case I was caught completely off guard because I had no clue of whether it was a satire, horror (first few moments), an actual B movie, a comedy of sorts (like Airplane), or a Hollywood jump on the Mexican Border issues, as it had a number of controversial sequences and I thought I had joined the Glen Beck´s campaign of lets become “famous” by attacking the Mexican / American issues. So my observation today to everyone is enjoy these reviews but understand what the movie´s central theme is so in order to prepare for the “events coming to a theatre near you”.

But with Machete, I really was caught off guard. See I live in Mexico for over 20 years and I have a Mexican family although I am Canadian, and honestly the first 30 minutes of the movie I was really appalled not only at the comments but it seemed like such a bashing and exploitation of the Mexicans and stereotypical behavior that I almost turned it off but again something told me to keep watching ( and of course it wasn´t all the bloodshed or nudity but I will say I always like Danny Trejo´s (Arnold Schwarzenegger man of few words attitude) so I kept watching).

Then something surprising happened it started to make sense ( I started capturing the real essence and satirical nature of the film and like so many of the watchable B movies of the 70´s and 80´s they somehow grip onto you and you now just can´t put it down. The humor and spoofs and political and racial remarks made started to take on a new film and meaning to the film for me.

The movie is about a machete wielding ex-Federale (who´s favorite weapon of choice = Machete) who´s wife and child are murdered in the first scene by a drug king Boss (played by Steven Seagal) and then escapes to America through the Network (lead by Michelle Rodriguez who I will say was looking especially buffed up) which helps illegal Mexicans establish themselves in America. 3 years after the murder of his family Machete (played by Danny Trujo) is approached and can´t refuse an offer to kill the US Senator (played by De Niro) who has jumped on the Border issues of America and very racist and inhumane killing any Mexicans that get in his way. Even starting with a DVD executing an illegal which they refer to as cockroaches and terrorists invading America.

But the story behind it all is that Booth (played by Jeff Fahey) who plays the assistant to the Senator hired Machete to injure the Senator so the public would have sympathy of the Mexican attack of terrorists and vote him in, but Machete and the Network and a Immigration agent who goes rogue (Jessica Alba) who helps to put it public and the jump to the dynamic finish which by this point its feeling like Wow what a comeback compared to how I felt in the first 10-15 minutes of the movie (of course without reading any reviews I was blindsided but refreshingly surprised at how it turned me around by the end).

Some things to watch for is quite a list of A actors who really did a great job with such tough content and Hollywood shakers (like Cheech Marin´s box of Mexican cigars or Lindsay Lohan´s completely Nude scene and her new found relationship with God) and the Director Rodriguez pulled it off and I think a reference to Quentin Terrentino´s style was remarkably noticeable in this film.

Overall, I liked it and felt a sense of comedy relief by the end although it honestly had my blood boiling at the start, but that’s the mark of a good film, turn our emotions all around and leave us at the end appreciating what he was trying to really say to us….so we will be ready to listen. Well done in that respect!!

"Calvin Marshall" - 2009

Movie of the Day: " Calvin Marshall” staring Alex Frost, Steve Zahn and Michelle Lombardo. Baseball player want to be, with memories of better days burned out and drunk Coach combined with a driven and talented girl make this feel good movie go thru the limits of life as do most of us.

Length: 1:.33:06

Date of Review: 09-24-2010

Rating : 7.00 (has components of a great movie with some great acting from literally everyone, however, left me feeling I wanted more).

Review: I will say like most movies, I never usually read the reviews before I watch, so I can really get a feel for the movie as it comes to me off the screen and let my emotions of that moment really “feel the moment” I am in. Like most I am sure we watch movies to get the enjoyment and really let yourself be absorbed as though you are right in the movie. The best ones all do that to you.

This movie “Calvin Marshall” was like that for me, being an ex Ball player scouted by the big leagues, and knee problems never got me there. This is the reverse of Calvin Marshall played by Alex Frost, about a guy who doesn´t seem to have the talent, never would ever get to the Game but has a heart that truthfully was too giving to ever get there. It’s a story about life and how we flow with the choices that come to us, and the times in our lives we feel confident in something (because something else in our life was being done super unexpectantly well which flowed our confidence into everything else we were doing ). Isn´t that the moral is that we never know what is going to be right around the corner that can just bring that energized Life right out of us.

Steve Zahn played a great role (really) but still the mean coach , ex Ball wonderguy turned drunken loser every night, was my personal turnoff because he is also in all his other roles just too nice a guy and after all the issues with coaches and molesting of players lately, I liked him but just didn’t like the role , I thought the script could have been improved to work him into a bigger person which would have given us a more feel good movie, his script was a disadvantage to where that movie could have been the high 8 to 9´s (which in my reviews is the near 10).

The new girl Top Volleyball “girlfriend” played by Michelle Lombardo was brilliant. She was not only refreshing to watch and see she was the perfect person to make that role really shine, I have never personally seen her before, but with her acting I am sure she will get some great future roles. And of course , I was a Volleyball Beach expert and one of the top players in school, and in that sport your either great or nothing, so I felt her competitive edge really pushed the movie up in adrenalin for me watching it.

However, that adrenalin rush I felt and I was hoping it would have rubbed off on Calvin Marshall, but it didn’t really and thus my only disappointment for this was it gave me a different ending then I was originally hoping for but that is really what this was about ….being prepared to not always get exactly what we really want, and the great person we turn into anyways.

Movie Review: "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done"

Movie of the Day: " My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done” staring William Devoe & Micheal Shannon. Psychologically messed up killer starts off with the killing of his mother , we know who did it now we go thru next 90 minutes for the why he is the way he is.
Length: 1:.31:53

Date of Review: 09-23-2010

Rating : 5.50 (has components of a good script that somehow never gets there on the screen).

Review: Some days you come across mixed emotions, this one started with some interesting positions ( police arrive at murder scene to a nutty looking guy , with his coffee cup, in the crowd of the front of the house of a murder scene by where a women has been stabbed by a sword, and his razzle dazzle statement to the detective as he enters the house. Are nutty murderers always so obviously different looking and acting???

I was almost saying the police should always observe next 30 minutes after a homicide at every person in the crowd because the killer always returns (does that really happen in real life….you stick around to see if nobody notices you. I don´t honestly know but he was the weirdest looking guy in the crowd and right from the start he lives next door , returns to feed his Pink Flamingos and goes into his house.

After a half hour the detectives realize the killer is across the street and as the police enter the driveway he screams out he has 2 hostages and over the next 45 minutes the SWAT is finally called in to negotiate ( and the main body of the storyline is about a crazy mentally displaced man played by Micheal Shannon played quite well at being really out there talking to and seeing God to his mother living with him at like 35 yrs old to her very crazy like things the mother does as others are recalling the events to detectives over last few days.

You really understand why people sometimes go crazy. Like mother like son!!! Some could have been good stuff that just didn’t seem to do it and ultimately was a sleeper for me. Again I rank it low because it just didn’t get creative enough to make this any more than a basic “play type” role work for the characters. I thought at some points of a stage play which the character is actually in a “stage play” in the movie, but also some parts felt like a Alfred Hitchcock movie or was that just William Devoe playing great role as usual.

Even Devoe could not save this one in my humble opinion, don´t expect too much unless you’re a extreme intellect watching another crazy person telling his story and there is a lot of deeper stuff but overall OK movie for your DVD dollar...for the majority but definitely I can see it also as a good film theatrically speaking for the fans of director Werner Herzog (also doing the screenplay) and producer David Lynch if your into their obviously somewhat weird and bizarre side of Hollywood.

Movie Review: Get Him to the Greek - 2010

Movie of the Day: " Get Him to the Greek" staring Jonah Hill & Russell Brand, Emotional roller coaster of a life and times of a rock and rock legends fast and furious life of trial and tribulations.
 Length: 1:53:53

Date of Review: 09-22-2010

Rating : 7.05 (good portrayal of ups of downs of a rock and roller, very funny , very gross and verbally aggressive at points but tastefully done).

Review: My movie watching life every so often throws a subtle twist unexpectingly, as the thought initially was going to be some funny feel good movie , however, it ends up giving you a very different taste of enjoyment of how really settled our own lives are compared to a roc and roll guru.

It is a movie of a record label newbie being put in charge to go to London and get his rock and roll idol to do a 10 year return gig at Los Angeles Greek theatre, but the rock and roller played by Russell Brand, was quite a refreshing character of freeform fun and take the experiences of friendship and superficial behavior and lets the audience see the true trial and tribulations of a rock and roller and what is expected of them from our society.

Jonah Hill plays the newbie record company rep who is little by little brought into the circle of anything goes in a rock and roll legends very personal life behind the doors and the late flights to the boozed up parties to the breaking up of the hotel rooms to the broken down family ties of the rock and rock legends. The actual story was quite refreshing way to put it across in a funny and free kind of spirit the movie brings out the best and worst from both extremes the hazards of their life and the things people are forced to do to keep the “stars” life ongoing. The balance act was gracefully done to control and make sure the “rock stars” craziness always made sure that he ends up at the gig.

The lost loves portrayed and relationships it was all packed into a feel good friendship and life´s lessons all rapped into some great tunes and a great soundtrack just jamming, I even got some triple tier laugh sessions with all out laughter bursts even though my humor usually stayed quite controlled the unexpected twists of the movie shows the talent of the actors and the directing staff.
Overall Good movie for your dollar....a Thumbs  Up in my mind.

Movie Review of the Day: "The Traveler" - 2010

Movie of the Day: " The Traveler" staring Val Kilmer. Awalk into the likes of Vincent Price action gory blood it is definately a Horror fans delight.

Length: 1:35:56

Rating : 5.00  (good graphics , lots ...too much blood and (guts) but OK overall.

Review: My reaction as I started the movie was it was filned like an A Type Hollywood movie and thus the actual watching was quite easy to watch and stay intense on Who is the Mr. NOBODY. A man walks in on Christmas Eve into the Police Station and starts his first of six confessions for murder. Has no fingerprints that can be read and puzzles the small town police force of 6 officers working that night.

One by one they start to realize who Mr Nobody really is, and one by one they disappear. The movie was with Val Kimer who even in his worst movies he in my mind puts his self into the acting and at certain parts of this originally Suspense Thriller Kilmer had me believing certain aspects of the old Vincent Price movies in certain scenes you can get the appreciation for his true acting, so much of what Hollywood has lost with the new Beautiful stars with not so much acting finesse, I am from your day Kilmer and I know your getting onwards but I feel a second wind coming up in the next few years for you.

Other than Val Kilmer , the movie really was just OK maybe not the low 4´s rated from most other but I am not even a Horror fan ,  which is what the movie seemed to turn into, but the movie itself was just OK. It couldve taken twists and turns to make it a little more interesting but the Director failed to exercise a more interesting approach than I personally viewed but a little re-scripting of scenes and avenues the same movie could have been a somebody in my personal own way of believing.

OK movie to watch (if you get the DVD) ....a Thumbs Even ...Not Up or Down in my mind.

"Hole in One" - 2010

Movie Review of the Day - "Hole in One" - 2010

This is my 2nd Blog and movie review ...here is to another 363 reviews this year. Hopefully I won´t run into anymore like this one.

Movie of the Day: " Hole in One" staring Steve Talley. Seriously waste of time as the thought would be at least a funny golf movie. Ha ha . There´s your 2 laughs!!

Length: 1:35:56

Rating : 3.00 (not even funny, movie quality was blah, storyline incredibly unbelievable)

Review: My words of wisdom on this one is leave it on the video shelf because if you wasted your dime going to a theatre I feel for you. It was tough enough to get through the long drawn out comedy , should have known Golf and Comedy , unless it was a Tiger Woods satire, jumping on the Tiger Woods shananigans over last 12 months, I am sure that was the marketing ploy.

Movie is about ace golfer Eric who is senior in high school hustling most golfers in the local Golf Course, who´s Caddy buddy calls him to alert him of the suckers willing to bet. Even the act of being "played" or hustled wasn´t even performed right. Two doctors who hustle him into the most ridiculous outcome expected, but I will say I have never heard of a better way of getting somebody to pay back a Bet.

I won´t ruin the dramatics but outcome was as usual expected and didn´t even crack one laugh other than the chinese guy ( Now he was funny). However, other than watching it to see a few "topless" scenes (I am sure just for Marketing promotions..couldn´t figure any other scenes to show with their 2 minute previews). Nothing else was anything more than a 2 or 3 on my review scale . Stay away is the real deal. 2 Thumbs down is my opinion on this one.

Like I say barely enough words to give a review without feeling like I am just wasting more time writing about "nothing". Till tommorrow I will search out a good new title (hopefully....see that´s the thing about Hollywood and movies in general ....its like a box of assorted chocolate that until you bite into it....you never really know what it is or how it will taste and make you feel ....but funny enough I ranked it 3.0 and went to IMDB site and its at a 3.2 , maybe I should start to look at a review before I watch a movie and do a review!!! Unfortunately thats not my style a true movie buff watches everything themselves and makes up their own mind. That is why we call it "Our Opinion".)

Movie Review of the Day - "I am Legend" - Will Smith

This is my first Blog and how appropriately we are:

Movie of the Day: " I am Legend" staring Will Smith. Serious action packed sci-fi thriller.

Length: 1:41:27

Rating : 7.60  (superb graphics , some sci-fi scenes were done well, it was believeable)

Review: My initial reaction as I put the movie down after watching it was lets gets some stuff ready for the End of the World (just in case) because this was believable (at least the story behind the story) the sci-fi beasts not so much , but the end of the world and humanity being so ill prepared for an ultimate "mistake" by some genious trying to invent the next newest drug or something will create a situation like this.

The movie is Will Smith for the first hour of the movie , and I must say I think he´s "Cool" so he was easy to watch and accept as a sole survivor after a virus attacks the whole of Earth and gets airborne. He is the General or Coronel in the Army and a Physicist trying to find a cure after 1001 days after everyone else disappeared and died.

The destitute and craziness expected after so long by yourself was played well, and the dog was I am sure everyone´s salvation , as man´s only living friend. It was a graphics and action non stop for first 60 minutes and the concluding story was done just as well, although the middle to end was a little long to get there , too much time telling about the underground people and the final attack was a little Hollywood extra , but you need closure in cases where a great storyline, but we all need Hope at the End which is what this movie lets us finsh with. Good movie to watch (once or twice) ....a Thumbs Up in my mind.
